Just about ready to buy the pipes. The only thing I need to find out if anyone here knows is are the 2-1 FAT CAT's that much louder than the Bigshot Longshots. I am on a military base overseas and want to get my order in before I return. ALso are the black ones that hard to come by?
Thanks,
Kevin
I am also interested in the sound of the Fat Cats (Black of course). THere was talk of a link on the D&D site that had a video with sound. I can't find a working link on that site.
If anybody can provide a video or link that will show what these pipes sound like that would be great. I like DJ's recommendation of them for their power but I'm not looking for "Set off Car Alarm" loud.
Thanks,

THis is a link from a message that Rattletrap posted showing them at idle. They look great on his Night Train.

I saw and heard some fat cats today on the highway... I thought they sounded great... they have a pretty cool look as well for a 2-1...
I say don't worry about the sound... it's not noise, it's Harley Music.... as long at they are baffled you should be all set!

To be honest, my Fat cat wasn't loud enough!
I ended up cutting the baffle in half to get more noise out of it. My bro I ride with was telling me, "man since you took off your pythons, your bike doesn't sound like it means business anymore". Well Pythons are loud, and on my bike with ported heads etc, they are REAL loud! So now I have a happy medium of loud and power now.
I will post a link for the black Fatcat, as soon as I get a sec guys, it is available, but it's direct from D&D and it's not as good of a deal as the chrome ones.
