In addition to my '90 Hertiage, I bought a '06 Ultra a few months ago. Unlike my Heritage with 2" drags, I wanted a mellow sound so I decided to change out just the mufflers. On E-Bay I bought the 4" mufflers that are stock on the Special HD '06 Screaming Eagle Ultra Glide thinking they were "Screaming Eagle" mufflers which they are not. I really like the way they look but I want more of a mellow tone. They're the catalyst mufflers and wanted to know if there is something special I need to do the drill them out myself. The back inner exhaust tips protrude out and I thought I should also cut them back about half-way as well. Any advice is appreciated. Tks.
