I got the red one from Sears, have not had any problems with it. Dealer has one for $100 that looks decent. I believe there are "red and yellow" jacks out there. What ever you buy, make sure you strap it down and are on a level floor.

Wolf, it looks pretty good, but with shipping it almost equals what a Sears jack costs. I can return one to Sears if something goes wrong with, don't know about this company. One question, how much is your bike worth? Thought so.

Scissor jacks are great. It's all I use when workin at home. I have an RML 800 at home and four or five at the shop. Some of the no-name brands are kinda wobbly.

Thanks Brian. Emailed them about the scissor jack.

And Templar, I got a motorcycle lift so all I really need is the scissor jack.

I looked on sears website and could not find the motorcycle scissor jack. Went the local sears and they didnt have one neither.

I dont need one, its more of a want than anything. Well.... kinda need one LOL!

I gotta lift to, need it to move the bike out of the way so I can park the wife's car in the garage. I really want a table lift someday but that will probably never happen so, since you need a scissors jack with a table lift, I will buy one of those instead. Logic? Hell, I am fascinated by zip ties what the fk do you expect!

Wolfie, here's what I bought. It was like $130 after shipping, but it's a damn good lift. Derek Weaver 1000 lb. Blackjack. Nice, solid, and built well.

I bought one of those sears motorcycle jacks a few years ago and it work well.

Then, I got a scissor jack, and I haven't touched the sears jack since. Scissor jacks are the way to go...small, light, portable, and super easy to use.

This is the one I got...
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/K-L-MC455-FAT-JACK-MOTORCYCLE-SCISSOR-JACK-CYCLE-JACK-/110606324575?pt=Motorcycles_Parts_Accessories&hash=item19c0a6935f#ht_1996wt_857

I got it 3 years ago and back then it was $110.00 with free shipping from the same seller. Man, these jacks got expensive!!!

I'd say shop around and get a cheaper one, I guess I just got lucky with my purchase. But in the end, IMHO you will be happier with a scissor jack than the bigger sears jack...especially if you are going to use it often.

That Blackjack looks good. Made by Direct, same company as one of our lifts, which is a good one. K&L makes good stuff but dang, that price is high.

Hey Wolf, look at the heavy duty one from Harbor Freight. Looks like a Nascar Jack for motorcycles. I've owned a few scissor jacks and I like this one the best. You can use the 20% off coupon in American Iron along with what ever sale they have going on. They been having a lot of sales lately. Really like it and the price is good. The cheaper on they have sucks though!

What are you wanting? Just a small jack to lift the bike up on the table lift? Thought you wanted another lift to use for tire changing, front end removal, etc. Plenty of small scissor jacks for what you want.

Sounds better than my cheap ass. I take two auto tire ramps and wedge them under the bike one from either side. A kick on one side then holding the bike I go to the other side and kick the other one until it rests where the tires would rest. Have not had it fall over nut I bet that is just luck

Great Harbor Freight item... I don't use it that much so I figured a HF unit would be fine. I was surprised how well the parts were made and how well they fit together. I just use my foot to jack it up while I hold the bike steady and when I let it down, yep, just use your foot to press the release lever... pretty decent. I got a coupon from a bike magazine that had it listed for 50% off. I got it for $49.99 plus tax.
