It's getting closer . Just looking for ideas on things to to see and do . Maybe something out of the mainstream away from downtown . Always looking for good places to eat or events off the beaten track .

Any ride down the Florida coast would be nice. A1A can be a drag as long as you're hitting stop lights every 2 minutes. If you want to go down to Ponce Inlet, about 1 hour plus some by highway, there is a real nice lighthouse and a fish camp, now a restaurant that has the greatest BBQ ribs. The thing about the ribs is they are fish ribs. Huge fish ribs. Probably from a 200 pound grouper or something. Try it, you'll love it.

Get away from the madding crowd... head inland. Get on 40 or 92 and enjoy the sweepers in the Ocala National Forest and "horse country". Riding through the orange groves is a sensory delight!
