I realize this might not be the correct forum for this question but couldn't find a more appropiate one. I think it is probably a smart idea to carry some tools on your scoot, but not sure which would be the most useful. Obviously you can"t carry everything you might need in any given situation but there must be some that are more useful than others. I am looking for recommendations on the tools that would be the most needed in most situations. Also what are the options in carrying them on a scoot without saddlebags etc.
Thanks!! :boldlgree

I would check out the Cruz Tools line. They have a few prepackaged sets which vary in complexity and cost. I picked up a set and the tools are pretty good quality. I think there are also other companies that have these sets.

There are teardrop sets that bolt to the side of the bike. There are tool rolls that tie on to the lower frome of the bike. I'm sure there are other option also.
I have a torx set, an allen set, and a combo phillps / slotted screwdriver set. The ones that fold up. Very compact. You can get different sets which offer different sizes.
Do not carry loose torx sockets in your fork bag. They will fall out and ding your fender.
WOW! I just went to cruztools. I think they're expensive for what you get. Maybe even worse than HD tools at the dealer. You can do better. Even make your own set for less.

We have cruztools through custom chrome at a discount of course. Let me know what kit your looking for and I will get you a quote. :gasthrowe
Over the years, I've developed my own tool kit by simply putting each tool I use for basic repairs and maintenance in a compartmented nylon bag I have. You'd think you'd end up with a duffle bag full of tools, but surprisingly there's not that many. Just a thought...
