Harley is recalling 23 2004 Dyna Wide Glide models to replace the fuel tank. Certain motorcycles with carbureted engines and an angled fuel fitting on the gas tank do not meet Harley impact test standards, which could cause a fuel leak. Ooops!

I'm glad they do testing. I guess. I just hate to think of them crashing Harleys into brick walls.
Only 23 bikes? I think thats a pretty good record out of how many 2004 Wide Glides have been produced to date.

I couldn't figure out how they got the dummy to balance the bike. :gun2:

Interesting... considering that the pet**** and crossover line haven't changed in at least ten years (aside from a more "positive" click when changing positions).

Information of the recall came from the Transportation section of the Chicago Tribune.

Holy buckets - apparently there are currently 3 recalls on that bike... including issues with fuel line not being crimped @ the carburetor... :wow:
