I am new to the Harley world I have purchased my first harley V-Rod Night Rod. I am trying to find a web site that will have full schematic of my Harley and all others. I am a do it your self person. I have purchased a shop manual for my current Harley but would like to know Part # so when I order parts I can call or go to my local Harley dealership and give a part#. I seam to learn better from pics than anything else.
If there is anyone who could help I thank you.

Welcome from New Zealand to CC. As well as the manual you may also want to get the catelogues. Yes its full of accessories you can add but it also contains some of the basics on wiring. Not a DIY manual but useful as a parts list. Not quite what you want but a start. Others will chime in with their knowledge as well i am sure.

You didn't say which manual you bought, but the HD manual is the best for schematics. You can also get the HD parts manual if you want bolt-for-bolt, but most of the time, the part# is listed. BTW, a V-Rod is really not like any other Harley - it has the half-Porche, water-cooled Revolution engine, not a Twin Cam, so looking at other bikes won't help you much.

Saw an electronic manual on E-Bay the other day. The guy sells them for around $5 and sends you the files to print or do whatever you want with them. I got one for my Ultra and it far surpasses my expectations. Since you are here it would be a good thing to go to the new members setion and introduce yourself. You would also be served well to mention the manual there, but that is exactly what you need. I have instructions in mine that help me tear it all down and put it back together. Like to see a pic of your bike, sounds cool.

Thank you for your reply. I have worked on my Suzuki and my Honda for years I have never owned a Harley before so what I am used to is a OEM parts fitche so to speak. Thank you ride safe.
