I'm looking to get some mild Harley sound out of 05 Road King. Not a lot of $. I'm hearing the choice is these 2 (wild pig & rolling thunder) both below $200. Any guidance would be much appreciated.

have you looked into pythons? I know some people here got them and love them and the sound. Plus you can get them here www.cyclespot.com :)

I have the Rolling Thunders and I'm extremely happy. Price, sound, & look can't be beat IMHO. But I'm sure they're all good at what they do.

Try to listen to each set before you decide I guess, if you can.

Good luck to you.

I installed Wild pig pipes a few weeks ago. Like the look and sound. Not to loud at steady highway speeds.

Thanks to MaineRoadKing for the hookup for the WildPigs slipons. Put them on my RoadKing this week and Sweet. Made a whole new bike. Nice T-shirt also. Sound is definatley there but not obnoxious. Especially nice sound between gears when rolling out at a good clip.

I changed the 1 3/4 baffles out of my wild pigs ( I liked the sound of the pipes with the 1 3/4 " baffles, but I wanted a little louder) and replaced them with the 2" baffles. Wow! what a difference in sound. Louder and deeper. I'll run the 2" baffles when I'm by myself and put the 1 3/4 " in when my wife is riding with me.
