Here's my problem, I've got a 2005 AIH Texas chopper in my shop. 4th gear blew out in the tranny. I've talked to some AIH dealers and they said AIH has had problems with the trannys that have the serial number starting with a "C", blowing out with low miles.
I'm currently trying to talk to AIH to get this guy a free tranny, but something tells me that they might not play ball.
I was wondering how the Ultima 6 speed RSD trannys hold up? I've heard good and bad things about their engines. If the Ultima is good, it sure is a much less costly solution to my problem.
