Howdy,

Have a '07 FLSTC, 96", SE Air Kit, SERT, and the Screaming Eagle drilled out 2-2 pipes.

Air/Fuel Ratio is 12.8:1. HP is 75, Tq. is 90.

It is moderately quiet with a medium bark.

I heard from several people that original Harley pipes with the baffle punched out sound terrific, deep & loud bark.

I stopped at a custom place and he agreed & does them. He started one up and wow, heart pounding. Just what I want.

Now, I do not want to spend the money on a map & dyno.

He said there is no need to re-map.

Is that true, no re-map...?????

Will I lose a little power or not...??

Thanks...

You say you have drilled out SE pipes and a sert.....And you want to punch them out? I'm not getting something here...If they are drilled out...why punch em out?
To answer your question though is that you can punch em out with out a remap.

Sorry if I didn't explain it well.

Pipe set #1: The bike has drilled SE pipes on it now. It has a sound a little above stock.

Pipe set #2: I have the original pipes from it off the bike. I heard that hole punching the baffles out of it gives it a super deep louder sound.

Taking off the SE pipes and putting on the hole punched original pipes is where I need to know if I need to re-map.

Thanks...

Mmmm K! Got it!

IMHO you won't have to re-flash the ECM. It would be better if you did but not necessary.
The drilled stocks will flow about as much as the SE pipes.
Go with it.

OBTW! Don't those drilled stocks sound Scweeet!

Punched out stocks are da BOMB!!

There has to be less back pressure if they're going to be much louder. I may lose a little power (?).

If they are completely punched out and no back pressure you may loose a little HP.
