I have installed some V&H LongShots HS, they are great! Only one issue I am having trouble keeping the space consistent between the top and bottom Pipes, rear pipe at the bend and at the end, when loose it is equally spaced from front to rear, when I tighten the exhaust head nuts it pulls the front of the pipe up increasing the space between top and bottom pipe. I noticed step 11 in the installation guide has the note below: NOTE: Adjust angle of bracket 349-P to aid alignment with head pipes. How is this accomplished? Do I bend this bracket? or do I shim this bracket or do I Oblong holes to allow for more adjustment? I can't oblong holes as bracket isn't high enough. does anyone have any suggestions?
