Can someone let me know their experience/knowledge about Hooker pipes?

Great sounding. Not bad abut bluing. Good dyno gains. I like them. True dual Rinehart are the best, hands down.

I am considering these for my 2004 RK (carbed). What, in your opinion makes them the best?

Will also do an SE intake and re-jet with Thunderslide.

I had the Rinehart True Duals on my 2001 Ultra.
I didn't like them, I had fittmant issues.

So I went with the Hooker True Duals, (bought from CycleSpot) and they are great. The power and torque differance compared to the Rineharts is negligable. The fittmant is much better!

Word of advice. Whatever you order, inspect each piece and check it completely BEFORE starting to install. It will make things a lot easier if you have to return it for some small defect. If you start to install it, it's considered "installed", even if you have not started up the bike. Then it's a real PITA to have to try to return.

Trust me on this.

You are sure right about checking them before starting any work. I have installed 6 sets of rineharts. 1 header shoulder was too big for flange to go on. 1 header shoulder was egg shaped. Rinehart will stand behind their product beyond the warranty w/no bs. Karen @ BUB is GREAT. Hooker makes a good product. Been doing it for a long time too.

Im not saying they arent but I would like to know why you say the Rineharts are the best. Ive heard they dont live up to their performance claims.
