one piece dash

Hi was hoping someone can answer a question.I have a chance to get a milwaukee one piece dash cheap fitmen says 84-90 FLST was wondering why it wont fit a 92 FLST has mechanical speedo drive.Did something change from 90 -92?Split tanks fit 84-99 so why wouldnt this fit?Thanks in advance

my repair manual is for 91-92 softail.I cant see why it wouldnt fit just hoping someone might know.Thx for replying

perhaps it was made in '90 and they couldn't guess if it fit future models?

nope they have a model for 91-95 i think the 90 had no self canceling turn signals so there would be no cut out on the dash for turn signal lights?Just guessing but i think thats the only difference
