Hi Guys,

I am intersested in learning more about the actual mechanics of the Harley Davidson, not as profession, but just so I can tinker with the bike without having to always have someone tell me how to fix it, or modify something.

If you know of any resources (web sites, books etc) I would greatly appreciate it!!!

Steeltown,

A Harley Service manual is chocked full of the information your looking for. Pick one up at your local dealer, and read it cover to cover.

I have one...and yes their is a wealth of info in there, but I'm talking more of "how to's" I mean if I wanted to change the Jet system, or tinker with the carborator??
Mabey I'm not being clear, or I just don't know, what I don't know!!!

I go through the service manual on almost a daily basis, but it just seams as though I am missing the foundation.

Capiche??

A parts manual for your bike might be helpful too, with the exploded diagrams and such.

Don't be afraid to tinker!

Book #4 is the latest edition, however I'm not sure how much TC88 information is in it.
I hope this helps.
