I have a 1994 FLHTC with a 113 engine. When my bike is hot (30 miles) power kills & shutsdown. Bike will cool down after an hour and work ok until it heats up again. I replaced circuit breaker - 50 amp. Same thing. When runnig, voltage is good - even with acessories. All of a sudden bike dies. Could it be regulator or coil? Should I relocated breaker? I do not trust bike anymore....

If the power didn't die with the bike I'd say crank position sensor, but if you're losing electrics too, it's likely something else. Will think about causes and see what I can come up with. In the meantime someone else might already know and post what the problem is. It's 3am where I am so might have to wait a few hours. :)
Oh, question, do you have to recharge the battery after it dies, or is it just a power cut out?

I do not have to recharge battery after, unless I wear it down trying to start it again before it cools down.

Oh! so you dont lose all electrical power when it happens? Crank position sensor is the most likely culprit. Its the sensor inside the cam cover where you set the timing. When it goes bad, it will run fine till it gets hot, then it will cut out.

I second the comment - crank position sensor would be my guess also.

Crank position sensor... how do you check it and/or replace it? What is it exactly? I have a DYNO 2000I igntion. is it behind there?

It was the Dyno ignition. I put a new cam sensor pick up and old SE ignition module, bike runs great. 500 miles in heat, no problem!!!

I had a problem with the Dyna 2000 also.....would cut out on 1 cylinder.
Installed the stock ignition and all was well.
