Adventurous Powdercoat...

ok, i've been thinking about this for a while and i thought i'd throw this out here for suggestions and/or tips from you powdercoat vets. i'm going to black out my night train. completely. (apart from the highlights around the engine and the hd on the tank, that is) as black as murder - which means the forks. i'm wanting to powdercoat the forks, minus about an inch and a half up over the canisters for the shock travel. any thoughts, tips or suggestions?

your looking at more than an inch and a half for shock travel. If you wanna do that buy a springer and do it all black:2cents:
there is a thread with a completely black bike and it was, well, in my opinion kinda overdone. Some of the others that have black bikes and change up the different shades/colors whatever they are called looks good IMO. like matte, semi gloss and ultra gloss.

no reason you couldnt.. in my opinion
doubt i'd go below the bottom tree though...
