This is the result of hitting the truck tire, on I-44 westbound, on my way to the funeral in Arizona. I wound up getting a new motor, too.

I'm waiting to get the okay to put the car in for body and paint.

There is a custom front end, which is a direct bolt on, by www.pteazer.com.

The body shop, where the car was originally painted, said they can use the custom front end, as the price is comparable to stock.

I'll post, when it's finished.

(sigh)
:usaflag:

p.s. The tire also tore out the bottom of the radiator, and damaged the oil pan, which is why the motor burned up. The motor blew, in a matter of minutes, with no warning.(sigh)

If anyone goes to the PTeazer site, the front end kit I'm using, is the full retro grille, with the bumperette front fascia.

I think it'll look great, installed, and painted to match the car.

For what it's worth.

Whatup Rick - that flamejob isn't "chrome-illusion" is it? You know, that paint that changes colors at different view angles? I drove a bodyshop wrecker for a year that had the same on it; heard the paint cost $250 a pint :shifty:
