Yeah, my local 7-11 is selling them.(Yawn!)

I haven't seen any of them move off the shelves, yet.

I thought you were kidding at first Rick. Then I saw the link. Sorry dude, I can't bring myself to click it. I guess I'll just take your word for it and gag. :barf:

and if that isn't bad enough, in the latest issue of Cruiser mag they are selling the 1:10 scale of the Occ bikes .... they are getting every dollar imaginable why the masses are still interested... I don't see it lasting for them

My local 7-11 has the 1:10 OCC bikes, too, and the owners, who are really nice people, keep pointing out the cards, and bikes to me.

I don't have the heart to tell them what I think of the Teutelheads(Leno calls them that).

The owners are sorta' like friends to me, and I'll probably buy one of the bikes, just to be nice.

Then, I'll take it to the range, for some target practice.

I watched the show 2 times. :barf: It seems to me that while they can build a bike, they are lacking in the smarts department. That whole family is sitting out on the porch without the light being on. I don’t think they have wires in the socket yet. They must be inbreeders!

I have quite a few baseball, hockey, football, and even some basketball cards still. I'm not sure what they're worth, but if I had to give an estimate on their combined value I'd say I could probably make quite a substantial payment on a Panhead. Then of course there's my comics and comic cards.... estimated value? Yet another Pan. :tongue2: Seriously. Its not that I have a lot, its just that I have a good assortment and once kept tabs on what's hot and what's not, being that close friends own a trading store.

I guess its not too surprising that OCC has their own trading cards. There are cards for just about everything now. I thought I'd seen everything when they came out with Buffy the Vampire Slayer trading cards hehehe.

I don't know guys. Sounds like there just making a buck. Would any of you pass it up if you had the chance?? At Least they don't Bellyache and BooHoo about being famous and there fans bothering them all the time like Jesse :cry1:does.

That's just the way it is when you hit it Big Time! More power to them. No player hating here. :whatever:

I don't have a problem with them making a buck...that's what they're in business for and they would be absolute idiots not to capitalize on it. What I do have a problem with is this "biker look" fad. All of a sudden, everyone wants to look like a biker. I don't mind being accepted, but I hate being a fad. Now you have to look at the boots to tell if they really are a biker and you can bet those same boots that if the trend setters get hold of that little giveaway, they'll start selling that look too. Grrr. I hate having to ask someone if they ride.... I am still used to knowing by looking. I run into folks all the time with hats, T shirts, you name it they got it, and they don't even know how to start a scoot. In a word, YUK.
For their part in that... :spank: Bad Paulie!!
But that's just me and I'm a grouchy old poot. eheheheh

I dont mind them making a buck but isnt there a line they shouldnt cross? They now have OCC coffee, and OCC cologne!!! The die cast models/toys of the bikes are okay to me because it is at least still related to the BIKES. However a local dealer that has a couple of OCC bikes told me they are JUNK. Said if ya ride a couple of hours stuff is falling off of them. FYI Ive seen a couple of the die cast models and they are ULTRA detailed. Break pedal actualy presses a plunger rod into the master cyl and has a real return spring.

hey coldtoe, i have been trying to figure that one out for years . Its not a recent fad but one that has been victimized since easy rider came out . everybody and their brothers started sporting the Look . Now adays is no different. But, I found the easiest way is to look at the road and when you see a biker you know he's a biker not a wanted 2 Be. :gun2:

I don't have a problem with them milking their 15 minutes of fame as much as they can....I just don't participate in it. There are way too many other more talented builders out there I'd rather do business with
