Any of you Arizonians know of this place? Hope it still exists when I make my Route 66 pilgrimage in years to come. :rockin:

I can't believe what bad shape the Pine Breeze is in. What a great place for a bar and grill type place. I would fix it up and go for it. There must be some business around if theres a bar and Harley dealer down the road. How far out of Flagstaff is it? With a little advertisement you know it would attract every Easy Rider fan that could possibly make it there.

I'm not sure if its there, but it looks cool. The bar would be a fun hang-out. :beerchug:

Sounds like a great project for a HOG group in that area!!?? I'm sure there are a lot of fund-raising projects to aid in purchase/restoration. I'll bet you could even get Peter Fonda and Dennis Hopper for the grand opening!

Oh well, nice thought anyway. :brainfart

I went in to my local video rental store over the Holidays to rent Easy Rider. Believe it or not they did not have a copy in their inventory. This was a local store not a Blockbuster, so now I'm on a mission to find a copy.

Does anyone know if it has been released on DVD?

There is a DVD out. I have it. My brother gave it to me so I don't know where it came from. Sorry.

Maalox,

Absolutely! I got it a while back when it came out on DVD for the 30th anniversary. You can get it at Amazon.com for $16.99.

I bought the DVD at Wal-Mart. They list it for $16.96 on their web site, but I know I paid less than that in the store. $14.xx I think.

Don't forget to get one of those giant bags of popcorn while you're there!

Just curious----------would that rider3.gif file (used by wideglide4jesus in his avatar) be Dennis Hopper on the Billy Bike? :smokin:

The avatar being used by WG4J is definately Dennis Hopper on the "Billy Bike." If you check the sites avatars, there are a few of Peter Fonda also. But the one of Billy is the best.
