cutting baffles

i have an o7 street bob and im putting the vance and hines bigshots stggereds on i want to cut a 1/3 of the baffles off . should i cut out of the middle and weld it back or offthe end?

Why cut? Why not just open the holes up some, if you cut, you risk making it sound tinny. If you must cut though, do it on the side that doesn't have the bolt hole in it.

what do you mean open the holes up some? should i reuse the reduser on the cut end?
