What needs to come off in order to change the belt
its left hand drive Spyke 6-speed 250 rear tire

Outer primary, primary drive, including clutch, and basket, inner primary.

Actually on a more serious note..... is it any easier with an open primary like a BDL?

U need a manuel,don't think your going to do this on the side of the road cause it sure ain't like changing a chain.
