I have 30 days to cancel my 6 year waarranty. I was getting ready to go get my money back yesterday when I ran into a couple of ol partners I hadn't seen in awhile. At the local watering hole of course. Anyway I think they both ought their bikes in 04' with extended warranties. One of em lost their tranny a couple of weeks ago so they gave him the cost of a stock tranny towards a six speed. They did the same when his oil pump went out. Upgraded to a high flow. His bikes built and the warranty stood. He's dealing with the same sevice manager we've known for years but I'm still paranoid that they'll screw me once they see the cam, headwork ,pipes etc... does anyone have any horror stories or good news on this subject?

Sounds to me like the best thing to do, and for your own peace of mind is to be up front about the work you've had done...if they won't cover you because of it, then don't waste the money...if they say they will, then you've got some peace of mind...it's better than spending the money, and then sweating bullets all that time wondering if you're really covered...IMHO
